ONE-ACT PLAYS:
TAKE TWO, a one-act play. Cast of 1m,1w,1 either gender. A former child film star, continuing her success as an adult, has invited a noted film critic to her trailer on the set of her latest film for a rare interview. He has been following her work for years, and it is revealed that she is aiding an FBI investigation into threats she has received, the verbiage of which come directly from his essays on her films. Together they discover how intimately they have come to know each other from a distance and examine against the backdrop of the threat on her life, the morbid fascination of the fan. UNION BLUES, a one-act play. 4m, 1w, 1 either. A combative woman wanting to understand and heal her difficult past relationship with her father steals her Dad's Civil War uniform to join his reenactor's group for the day. She confronts the captain, the divorced parent of a teenaged daughter from whom he is estranged, on playacting the Civil War, and on the importance of a daughter's relationship with her father.
